DESIGN PHASE PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Miller & Associates will perform Design Phase Project Management, or on a global scale we will manage the Design and Construction process from project inception to final completion (i.e. from cradle to grave). We will develop your project budget, manage the design team, control costs, provide estimating and scheduling throughout the project, provide value engineering and constructability review services. We will act as the owner’s agent, or augment your staff as required.

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (B.I.M.)
Miller & Associates provides unsurpassed team leadership, specialized technical expertise and state-of-the-art technology to move projects from imagination to reality. B.I.M.: Building Information Modeling (B.I.M.) is an emerging approach to the design, analysis, and documentation of buildings. At its core, B.I.M. is about the management of information throughout the entire life cycle of a design process, from early conceptual design through construction administration, and even into facilities management. By information we mean all the inputs that go into a building design; the number of windows, the cost of materials, the size of heating and cooling equipment, the total energy footprint of the building, and so on. This information is captured in a digital model that can then be presented as coordinated documents, be shared across disciplines, and serves as a centralized design management tool.
Revit:At Miller & Associates we use cutting edge technology to compete with larger firms and conform to changing industry standards. We are currently using Revit Architectural Suite which enables us to provide Building Information Modeling (B.I.M.) We are now producing our project with the Revit 3-D modeling software. We feel Revit is the most technologically advanced B.I.M. application. Currently, a number of B.I.M. applications are on the market, provided by a host of different software vendors. While most other B.I.M. Applications in today’s market are based on technology that is 20 plus years old, Revit was designed from the ground up as a B.I.M. platform to specifically address problem areas of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry; communication, coordination, and change management.
